Your baby has sensitive skin therefore the clothes of your baby must be cleaned properly and must be well taken care of. Here are some tips that you can use when it comes to taking care of your baby’s clothes.
Most mothers would wash their baby’s clothes in special detergents to help lessen the risk of skin allergies to take place. However, there are some babies who do not show any reactions when it comes to using common detergents. It is suggested though that for children from birth up to two years of age, their clothes should be washed in dye free detergent since this is less likely to trigger any allergic reactions when it comes to your baby.
It is also advised to avoid the use of fabric conditioners on your baby’s clothes since they contain harmful chemicals that can easily irritate your baby’s skin. Aside from that, fabric conditioners are said to take away the flame retardant in clothing.
Your baby can have the cutest outfit but they will not hesitate to stain it. Stains on baby clothes such as baby foods and leaking diapers can be difficult to get rid off. The only way to get rid of them is to pre-treat the stain before washing the clothes. Once this is done, the process can help get rid of the most stubborn stains which will help leave your baby’s clothing clean and pristine. Pre-treatment can be done with the help of club soda or baking soda and vinegar. It is important to treat the stains as soon as possible in order to increase the chance that the stain will come out.
You should dry your baby’s clothes on your dryer’s lowest setting. This is because the heat can shrink your baby’s clothes which will unable your baby from wearing them anymore.
When you have new clothes for your baby, it is also best to wash them first before allowing your baby to wear them. Although they may look clean and fresh when you bought them in the department store, the baby clothing has already been in contact with dirt, four legged creatures and bugs while it is being packaged and shipped.

Sign Language to the Baby Helps Him Express Himself

Speaking with signs is a universal means of communication
If you have ever watched movies where people are faced with the task of relaying their ideas to people who speak a different tongue, you will probably note that all these characters have one thing in common; they try to reinforce what they are saying with hand movement.
At first the infant is a foreigner in our house
In his infancy and early childhood, the language you are accustomed to speak is foreign to your child. It is only by constantly associating the sounds you utter with your movements (baby sign language) that the baby gradually gets the meaning of your words.

Moving the head from left to right and back is readily associated with something that is negative. It can mean that something bad was done or that the person does not want to do something.
There are hundreds of actions that people in all countries of the world are able to recognize as symbolizing one common idea. It is these gestures that should be used in baby sign language to help infants understand the meaning of words faster. This will lead to their developing their speech much earlier.

Why You Should Take Your Baby To A Chiropractor
Many people are surprised to hear that children can benefit from chiropractic care – and this is completely understandable. Chiropractic care for kids is very different with that of adults – children are not “mini” adults, their little bodies function and move in a completely different way so should their chiropractic care .
“But why does a baby get spinal problems?”
Birth, a natural and beautiful process, often places significant strain on the baby’s spine, especially the neck. Sometimes when the birth is long or difficult, when there is intervention used (such as forceps or C-section) – the strain and stress on the baby is further increased. Some studies have indicated that birth related spinal trauma is as high as 80-95%.
As the baby starts to grow, develop and learns to crawl – this is not only a huge neurological milestone for the baby, but also a huge biomechanical challenge. Some babies can develop spinal or pelvis dysfunction, very similarly with an adult doing a hard workout after being inactive for so long.
As the child starts to walk, play and explore, they will endure many falls and accidents (hopefully mild ones), again causing imbalance in their musculoskeletal system.
“What are the signs and symptoms that my baby may have spinal dysfunction?”
Some common signs and symptoms, though not limited to, that can indicate your baby might be having some spinal and/or cranial issues which chiropractic can help with:
Breast feeding issues
Poor suck
Excessive crying or fussing.
Easily startled
Preferring one breast over another
Difficulty sleeping
Sleeping in the same head position all the time
Excessive dislike to tummy time
Misshapen head or a flat part on the head
Asymmetrical facial features
Medical intervention used during birth.
“So what does chiropractic care for my baby look like?”
Adjusting a baby is very different with adjusting an adult. The techniques utilised are gentle to suit their little bodies’ needs, very rarely is manipulation performed. Most of the time an adjustment involves gentle stretching and mobilisation which normalises and facilitates the function of the baby’s growing musculoskeletal system.
“Is chiropractic adjustment safe for my baby?”
The safety of Chiropractic is well-documented. In adult studies, where spinal manipulation are used, the likelihood of serious adverse reaction to be as low as one in 5.83 million, 5 times less likely than being struck by lightning) and 250 times safer than taking a course of anti-inflammatory. In children, where much gentler techniques (mostly without the use of manipulation) are used, the risk of chiropractic adjustments is extremely low.
Ideally, every baby should be have a Chiropractic assessment as early as possible for spinal and nerve dysfunction related to birth trauma, especially if there are visible signs observed (above). An assessment can reveal whether or not chiropractic can help, if not, appropriate referrals can also be made.
Ensuring your baby has a healthy spine and nervous system is important for their normal growth and development. Healthy babies, without spinal or nerve dysfunction, are happy babies.

Tips for half- year old baby
About the age of six months your baby will be ready to eat solid food. This is because around the age of six months is when your child's mouth will change to cope with swallowing solid food. Another good way to tell if your baby is ready is when your baby has reached double its birth weight. If you happen to feed your baby solid food prior to this then your baby may have a hard time to digest the food.
You will need a few things before you start feeding your baby solid food like bibs, a bowl and spoon that is not breakable, and a food processor will come in handy. Naruto Guide
The very first solid baby food to try is rice cereal, it is low in protein and will not be likly to cause any allergic reaction. Mix the rice with breast milk or with formula and be sure that it is mixed thin, it will be simpler for you baby to swallow. After your baby is used to the rice you can try to add some vegetables to it, then fruit. Vegetables before the fruit because your baby may not like the vegetables after trying the fruit.
Any dairy made from cows milk needs to be avoided until your baby is one year old. After your baby has had cows milk for a month or more you can add other dairy products. It is best to put your baby on solid food gradually do not be in a hurry wait at least twenty four hours before you introduce a new food, this is to be sure that your baby is not having any reaction.
Remember that you need to let your baby be in charge. You will be informed by your baby whether or not it needs a top up or if they are still hungry.

Pregnant Woman
After a boring weekend, I hoped for a little excitement in tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. What I got, however, was an hour of "she said. She said," and not in the fun way that ends with table flippings. Minus a few catty comments from the ladies and some hilarious one liners form Phaedra, this episode did not live up to Atlanta's dramatic hype. It almost had me wishing for Real Housewives of D.C. to return. Yeah; it was that bad.
In attempt to get away from all the drama she causes, NeNe decided to take a girls trip to Miami with her lapdog Cynthia and Kandi. Although NeNe has bashed on her more than a few times, Kandi decided to give her another chance and hopes for a smooth trip. Clearly she forgot about last season's trip to Miami. God bless you Kandi. You'll need it to handle Miss Crazy.
And if anyone can help her get in touch with God, it's future funeral home owner Phaedra. After meeting a famous funeral home director, Phaedra realizes working with the dead is her true passion. but more important than following her dream is creating a business her son can take over someday. What a creepy family business.
Thankfully, Kim and Kroy have a less morbid plan for their family business. Being the mountain boy that he is, Kroy hopes to open a hunting store when his football career ends. But first, Kim's gotta get the baby out of her hoo-ha. As the birth of her son and her 33rd birthday approach, Kim has become a bit depressed. I would too if I had ot refrain from tequila shots on my birthday. To cheer her up, Kroy decides to throw a surprise birthday party for his baby momma. He's hot, he's sweet, and he likes guns. You are one lucky woman Miss Zolciak (or should I say Mrs. Biermann. Congrats on your wedding this weekend love!) and Kim knows she's lucky, as he continues to gush over Kroy during a dinner with Sheree. She says she's happy she took things slow with him. If being eight months pregnant after dating someone for two months is slow, then I'm probably moving backwards in time with my relationships. But I think I like it that way.
Back in Miami, the ladies are lounging on the beach and trying to find some men. This becomes a challenge since they decided to have their ladies weekend during PRIDE, a different type of ladies weekend. And to add to the challenge, NeNe points out that Kandi's thighs are huge. Really NeNe? You wanna look in the mirror and say that again as you chow down on nachos. You are far from a skinny mini, and while I believe beauty come in all sizes, I also believe shouldn't make negative comments on someone else's body when you have similar figured. I also believe Kandi is one of the hotter housewives out there, so NeNe can basically suck my non-existent d-ck. The ladies do manage to find some middle aged, balding men and play a round a Frisbee. If that doesn't arouse you, well then you're normal.Let's return to a cute couple. It's Kim's birthday and Kroy does everything right. He takes her to dinner, and treats her like a queen. I want me one of those! When they return to the house, Kim is blow away by her extra surprise. With her family, closest friends, and hair designer by her side, Kim couldn't have asked for a better birthday. Hell, Kroy even hired a masseuse to pamper Kim when the guest left. Looks like sweet guys do exist, but only in Montana. And they all lived happily ever after. Boring! I'm happy that the ladies seem happy wiht their lives but come on. I expect weekly drama when it comes to the Real Housewives and it better come soon, or I may have to find a new series to specialize in.

Why Should I Teach My Baby Sign Language
Baby Sign Language is the practice of using symbolic gestures to enhance your verbal interactions with your baby. Using symbolic gestures is something that all human beings do naturally. It helps your baby communicate with you before she has the verbal ability to do so. Some examples of sign language are when your baby raises her arms to you because she wants to be picked up or your baby would point at something because she wants to draw your attention. Not only is it completely natural to use symbolic gestures, it is nearly impossible to stop yourself from doing so. Imagine trying to give directions to people without using your hands. It can be really frustrating trying to make other people understand what you are trying to say without actually saying it. This is the same way for babies. Since babies can usually make simple sounds, they can get frustrated when they cannot express what their wants and needs. Frustration for babies usually leads to meltdowns which also increases the level of stress for the parents. Aggressive behavior is cut down by signing with infants or toddlers, including biting and hitting due to frustration.
Through Baby Sign Language, the baby isn’t just limited to simple sounds and meltdowns. If you use specific hand gestures to enhance certain words when you interact with your baby, your baby would also learn to do the same hand gestures that you do. Through this method, interacting with your baby would be much easier because your child will not only be able to tell you when he or is she cold, hungry, happy, tired, or sick, but also tell you that he or she needs to get a toy from the shelf. Signing can make your baby feel that they can come to you with their needs, wants, and ideas.

Helpless Hosts,Bullied Into Babysiting
I’ve never had a baby, but I imagine the worst part about doing so would be having to take care of it. They’re so loud and expensive and drooly and gross. I’m not interested.
Wouldn’t it be magnificent if I could just drop my baby in someone else’s care and never really have to worry about it again? I would be happy knowing my genes were passed on, and I’d be even happier because I didn’t have to get vomited on in the process.
Well, a species of bird shares my genius idea — the Great Spotted Cuckoo basically bullies the European Magpie into taking care of its young, and the magpie just lets the cuckoo do it like the pathetic weakling it is.
It’s all because of the cuckoo’s majesty and power.
Cuckoos choose magpies that they think will be good parents. They scour an area and choose the largest magpie nests. The magpies that can build the biggest nests generally have the most resources, which means they probably have the biggest territories. And birds with the biggest territories are probably the biggest and the strongest, which makes them high quality, as we all know. High quality birds make high quality parents. So the cuckoos choose the best ones then lay their eggs in the magpie nests and fly off to let the magpie take care of it.
You see, even though the magpie can tell the difference between its own eggs and the cuckoos eggs, it still usually sits on it and feeds the chick because if a magpie tries to strike back and throws the egg out of its nest, the cuckoo gets understandably upset.
“That was my baby, yo,” it says in bird language.
And then it rounds up its cuckoo buddies and together they wreak havoc on the magpie nest and destroy the magpie eggs. That does kind of seem like a lot of effort when the cuckoo could instead be eating or laying more eggs or resting or playing Halo and trying to outcompete its roommates.
So why does the cuckoo bother harassing the magpie?Well, the magpie needs to learn its place. And it works.Magpies that just accept it and raise the cuckoos’ young actually do better in the long run than magpies that try to fight back and throw the cuckoos’ eggs out of their nests. After the cuckoos ruin the magpie’s life, the magpie builds another nest and is way more likely to just give up and raise the cuckoo’s young the next time, so it wasted all that energy. And no matter what, the cuckoo gets its chick raised. And really, the cuckoos are essentially setting an example for all the other magpies who think they’re tough.

How can I tell if my baby can hear clearly
All babies are screened for hearing impairment shortly after birth. If she has been born with hearing difficulty it will be detected straight away. The test is simple and quick, and won’t hurt or be uncomfortable for your baby. For more information see the NHS Newborn Hearing Screening Programme.
Some babies with perfect hearing don't seem to notice noises around them. If your baby sleeps through the phone ringing and the dog barking, don't worry. It's unlikely to mean that her hearing is affected. She probably just needs her sleep.
If you want to test your baby's hearing for yourself, the best time to do it is when she's wide awake and alert. Here are a few quick tests you can do:
If your baby is under three months, clap your hands behind her head. If she startles, she's fine. If she doesn't, repeat the claps a few times (NHS 2008).
If your baby is a bit older, between four and six months, she should have some head control. Call her name to see if she turns towards you or reacts to your voice. She might also turn her eyes or head to look for an interesting sound. As hearing and talking are linked, by four months your baby should start to make cooing sounds and other noises (NHS 2008).
Between six and 10 months, your baby should respond to her name and familiar sounds, such as the ringing of the phone or the roar of the vacuum cleaner, or even quiet noises if she’s not occupied with other things (NHS 2008).
Between 10 and 15 months, she should be able to point to a familiar object in a picture book when asked, and react when you say her name. She may even notice quieter sounds coming from another room, and may respond to an expression such as "bye bye", even when no gestures are used (NHS 2008).
If your baby doesn't respond to any of these tests, or if you’re not certain and want a second opinion, talk to your doctor or health visitor. It is likely to be only a temporary loss caused by a cold (NHS 2009a). Or she may simply be too engrossed in something else to take notice.

Will teething be painful for my baby
The arrival of your baby's first tooth won't be much fun for either of you. Your baby may be in pain and drool for a month or two before his tooth appears. You could be up at night trying to console him while he waits for a tooth to break through. To ease his suffering, your baby may start biting, but not out of anger or hostility. Give him something to bite on, or rub his gums gently with a clean finger to help soothe the ache (CKS 2009).
Your baby's gums can also become inflamed when he cuts a tooth, which may make his cheeks appear red and swollen (CKS 2009). You may worry that your baby has a fever or diarrhoea when a tooth is about to come through, but teething shouldn't cause illness (CKS 2009). If your baby seems ill, it's more likely he's coming down with a cold, an infection or a tummy bug. Take him to your doctor if you are concerned (CKS 2009).For some babies, teething can be a fairly painless mouth makeover. One week your baby is sporting a toothless grin, and the next a jagged white edge may appear on the gum surface, without causing much upset Celebrate your baby's first tooth by taking lots of pictures, and note its arrival date in his baby book. Your baby's teeth will sprout one after another. After the arrival of the two bottom front teeth, expect the top two middle teeth, then the teeth along the sides and back. Tooth development is hereditary, so if you got your teeth early, chances are your baby will, too.

How can you encourage your baby to sit up
You can help your baby learn to sit by encouraging her to play lying on her tummy as much as possible. Try to get her to her to look up, by using colourful and noisy toys, or by pulling funny faces and making sounds (CSP 2003, RFHT 2008).
Encouraging her to look up will help strengthen her head, shoulder, neck and back muscles. Strengthening these muscles will help her to develop the head control she needs for sitting up (CSP 2003, FSID 2006, Kuo et al 2008, Ma 2009, RFHNT 2008).
Once your baby can sit fairly well, put toys and other fun objects just out of her reach. They will hold her attention as she learns to balance herself with her arms.
As always, and especially when she's just learning to sit, be sure to stay close to your baby in case she falls.

How will you know if your baby has vision problems
Your baby's eyes will be examined before she leaves hospital, as part of her newborn check. Your GP will also examine your baby's eyes at your postnatal check, when your baby is between six and eight weeks old.
At birth it's normal for your baby's eyes to roll away from each other occasionally. But if your baby is squinting all, or a lot of the time, tell your doctor or health visitor. They can refer you to a child vision specialist, called an orthoptist or ophthalmologist (Hall and Elliman 2006, NHS 2009b, Scott 2011).
Let your doctor or health visitor know if:
any vision problems run in the family
your baby has trouble moving one or both of her eyes in all directions
your baby's eyes are crossed most of the time
one or both of your baby's eyes tend to turn out or wander
your baby can't track an object with both eyes by the time of your postnatal check
(Hamer and Mirabella 2008, NHS 2009b, RCO 2009)
Babies born prematurely and babies born with a low birth weight are more likely to have vision problems. This is because the eyes don't finish developing at the end of pregnancy.
If your baby was born early or with a low birth weight she will be screened for a condition called retinopathy of prematurity (NHS 2009a, RCPCH 2008). This condition happens when the blood vessels that supply the eyes with oxygen and nutrients haven't fully developed (NHS 2009a, RCPCH 2008). This condition is fully treatable if it is noticed early (Hall and Elliman 2006, RCPCH 2008).
If you're worried about your baby's eyesight as she grows up, talk to your doctor. Many eye problems can be treated successfully if they're spotted early.

How will by baby develop head control?
Your baby will take it slowly. She'll gradually develop head control over her first six months.
Newborn
Your baby's neck muscles are fairly weak at birth. For the first few months, she'll rely on you using your hand to support her head and neck when you hold her. Perhaps it's nature's way of ensuring you have lots of face-to-face interaction. As you cradle her in your arms, enjoy the chance to gaze into her eyes. It'll help you bond and make her feel loved.
One month to two months
By the end of your baby's first month, she may be able to lift her head briefly when she's lying on her tummy (NHS nd, Sheridan 2008: 6). She may also turn it from side to side.
At around six to eight weeks, she may be able to raise her head when she's lying on her back. When you hold her on your shoulder, she may have enough control to hold her head up shakily, but not for long. Right now, you can put her in her bouncy seat and she'll enjoy watching the world go by.
Your baby will also be strong enough to hold upa her head in a car seat or sling. You may find she's still too wobbly for a lightweight stroller or a backpack. Wait to use these until she can hold her head up steadily without any support from you, probably at about six months.
Three months to four months
You'll notice a definite improvement in your baby's head control by this time. She's able to raise her head up 45 degrees from the floor while lying on her tummy, and keep it steady (Sheridan 2008: 9, 58).
Try a fun game that will help to develop your baby's neck muscles. Put your baby on her back on the floor, and slowly pull her up by her hands to a sitting position. Slowly ease her back down, and repeat. She should be able to hold her head more or less in line with the rest of her body as you pull her up (Scott 2010, Sheridan 2008: 9, 58).

How you can establish your baby good sleep habits
Your baby can develop sleep habits as early as six weeks. At this age, these are some of the most effective things you can do to help your baby settle:
Learn the signs that mean he's tired
For the first six to eight weeks, your baby probably won't be able to stay up for much more than a couple of hours at a time. If you wait much longer than that to put him down, he'll be overtired and won't nod off easily.
Watch him for signs that he's sleepy. Is he rubbing his eyes, pulling on his ear, or developing faint, dark circles under his eyes?
If you spot these or any other signs of sleepiness, try putting him down in his cot or Moses basket. You'll soon develop a sixth sense about your baby's daily rhythms and patterns, and you'll know instinctively when he's ready for a nap.
Begin to teach him the difference between day and night
Some babies are night owls (something you may have had a hint of while you were pregnant) and will be wide awake just when you're ready to snuggle into bed. For the first few days, you won't be able to do much about this. But once your baby is about two weeks old, you can start teaching him to tell night from day.
In the daytime, when he's alert:
Play with him as much as you can.
Make daytime feeds social. Chat and sing to him as you feed him.
Keep the house and his room light and bright.
Don't try to cut out every-day noises, such as listening to the radio or putting on the washing machine.
Wake him gently if he nods off during a feed.
At night-time:
Stay quiet and subdued when you feed him at night.
Keep lights and noise low, and don't talk to him too much.
Before too long he should begin to work out that night-time is for sleeping (Sleep 2003).

How will grasping develop
Newborn to two months
If you place your finger in your newborn's palm she'll curl her tiny fingers around yours (Farrell and Sittlington 2009, Sheridan 2008: 4). This instinct to grasp is a reflex and is at its strongest for the first eight weeks of your baby's life. This reflex will have gone by the time she is three months.Your baby's hands will mostly be clenched in a fist during her first couple of months. You may notice her beginning to open and close her hands and look at them (Sheridan 2008: 6). She may even try to wave a fist at nearby toys.
Three months to four months
Your baby's hand-eye coordination is starting to develop. She'll notice toys she'd like to hold, and she'll attempt to pick them up. She may not be able to grasp them, so she'll just bat at them (NHS nd, Sheridan 2008: 10). If you put something in her hand, such as a rattle, she may be able to hold it for a few seconds (Sheridan 2008: 10).A baby gym is great entertainment for your baby at three to four months. She will still be flat on her back at this age, but as she lies on a soft mat she can swipe at the fun, colourful mobiles hanging above her.
Four months to eight months
At four or five months, your baby can pick up large objects such as building blocks. She won't be able to let go of them easily, though (NHS nd, Sheridan 2008: 17, 63).At six months your baby starts to hone her hand-eye coordination. She will rake an object toward herself, and will start passing objects from one hand to the other (NHS nd, Sheridan 2008: 17). It's a good idea to keep potentially dangerous objects out of her reach from now on, and to start childproofing your home. You will notice that your baby loves to put objects she has picked up into her mouth. If you have older children you will need to make sure their toys are out of your baby's reach. Toys for older children often have small parts, which if swallowed by your baby, could cause her to choke. If your baby grabs a piece of food to put in her mouth (NHS 2010a,b), it could be a sign she is ready for solids. The Department of Health recommends you wait until your baby is six months old before giving her solid food. Once your baby is ready, be careful not to give her anything small she could choke on, and never leave her on her own when she is eating.
Nine months to 12 months
Your baby can pick up objects with little effort now. Once she has something, she may hand it over to you, or drop it just to watch you pick it up (NHS nd). She's also improving her pincer grasp, which means she can pick up small objects such as a raisin between her thumb and forefinger (Sheridan 2008: 17, 63). As her coordination improves, she may try to grab her spoon and attempt to feed herself at mealtimes (BDA 2010, EUNUTNET 2006, Sheridan 2008: 20, 24). She may not always be on target, though!
Once my baby can grasp things, what comes next?
Once your baby perfects grasping, throwing isn't far behind, so watch out! Your baby may take delight in hurling her toys and having you pick them up.When your baby is 15 months, she may enjoy stacking bricks in a tower (NHS nd, Sheridan 2008: 29) and banging things together.
By 18 months, her preference for her left or right hand is emerging (Sheridan 2008: 29). Her dominant hand will be stronger and more dexterous than the other. But you won't know for sure if she's right or left-handed until she's between two and four years old (Sheridan 2008: 64).By the time your baby is two, she'll be able to pick up tiny objects easily and place them back down again, carefully and precisely. She may enjoy playing with shape-sorting toys and simple jigsaws (Sheridan 2008: 33, 63). Her artistic side will come out, too, so she'll hold a crayon or pencil and enjoy scribbling (Sheridan 2008: 65).At three years old, she'll be coordinated enough to use toy scissors and write down a letter or two, or draw a cross (Sheridan 2008: 40).

Baby caring is an important part of family lifestyle
Baby caring and nurturing take maximum time for a first few months. In many situations parents get irritated of all repeated time consuming things but if you begun to frustrate, it will only increase your problem and anxiety. Parenting is a selfless job which doubles the enjoyment if you know the few things. It is good for you and your baby to talk, touch and hold. These three things make mother and infant bonding stronger. Start breast feeding of baby soon after birth for better immune system of his/her. Check the appearance and color, reflexes, heart rate, breathing and other noticeable things of baby soon after birth to see if any special care is needed. Right before discharging from hospital few drops of your baby's blood is taken to check the rare deceases. Safety seat is must for a new born while travelling, whether you are using car or van.
Only use car seat that meets the safety standard and why not after all it is about your baby's security.A new born baby sleeps atleast 18 to 19 hours a day. So it is important to have a safe place to sleep and should place in safe position. For comfortable sleep of baby, a firm mattress is must that fits tightly to crib, cradle or bassinet. Do not put your pillows, comforters under baby bed because the things that provide comfort for you can cause uneasiness in babies. If you have healthy infant, make him/her to seep in his/het back or sides. If you use cribs for your baby, keep its sides raised while new born sleeping in it. Keep away the pets, children and other large stuff when baby is sleeping. Babies lungs are soft and delicate and cannot resist the respiratory infections like adults so do not allow people to smoke around. There are two things that parents need to care, the first and foremost is health and second is safety.
You can see the various accessories in the market related to baby's health and safety for instance cribs, strollers, car seats and baby chairs are available for safety and sterilizers, cleaners, sanitizers, massage oils, hand soaps etc. are for baby health. It is not good to shake a baby. Never ever shake a tiny tot not even by mistake or in frustration as it can cause bashing inside the skull and can cause short or long term damage of brain depending upon how extremely you shook baby. Also your shaking can lead to more crying of baby that means further add up in frustration of you which you will really don't want. There are other larger sections of baby caring like bathing, feeding, diapering, teething, nursing and other things that we have discussed in earlier articles and will discuss in other articles also. If you know how to care for your baby, parenting will be an enjoyable task.

How will your baby learn to crawl
Your baby may start learning to crawl when she's between six and nine months old. She's then likely to be crawling well by the time she's a year old (NHS nd, Sheridan 2008).Bear in mind some babies never crawl and get around by bottom-shuffling instead. Some babies move directly to pulling up, standing and walking (NHS nd). It's getting mobile that's important, no matter how your baby does it.
Six months to seven months
Your baby will learn to crawl after having spent time on her tummy to strengthen her muscles. By the time she is about six months old, she will be able to do mini push-ups. She will lie on her tummy and lift her head and chest up, using her arms for support.Your baby may start with commando-crawling, pulling herself along on her tummy using her forearms. She may then get up on all fours and rock backwards and forwards, with her arms straight and her body parallel to the floor.
Eight months to 10 months
By the time your baby is about eight months old, she may be able to sit well without support (NHS nd, Sheridan 2008). She may then try to move from sitting onto her hands and knees. Her arm, leg, and back muscles should be strong enough to keep her from falling on the floor.Your baby will then work out that pushing off with her knees gives her just the boost she needs to get mobile. At first she may go backwards before she learns to go forwards, getting further away from the toy she has her eye on. Soon she'll learn to go from a crawling position back into a sitting position.Your baby may also learn to cross-crawl, moving one arm and the opposite leg together, to go forwards.
One year
Practice makes perfect and your baby is likely to be crawling confidently by the time she's a year old (Sheridan 2008). She'll be keen to tackle any challenge, including the stairs.

Newborn baby care isn't an easy thing
You need to know every minute detail about the process. This article will provide you some tips on newborn baby care.Essential things to know:
Do not follow the superstitions related to baby care. Your baby needs morning sunshine. This will protect his body against jaundice. It is perfectly normal to take your baby out even if he or she is barely a few weeks old. However, you should take care that he or she is properly dressed depending on the weather. As the baby turns a few weeks old, it is normal for its skin to become flaky. You need to apply oils or lotions on its skin. However, it is important to know that use of any chemicals should be avoided. The scalp of the baby can also shed its topmost layer. Many a times, some assistance is required to remove the dead cell layer. You can rub it away very smoothly using a sponge as you give your baby a bath.
However, you should not apply any lotions or oils on the baby's scalp. The skin of your baby can develop some mild rashes. However, you should know that these rashes are harmless. Newborn baby care commands that such rashes should not be nursed with ointments or creams. These creams can cause harm to your baby's skin. The rashes occur as a result of many different factors. You can consult a child specialist only when the rashes become infected. Moreover, you should know that bathing your child everyday is no solution to these rashes!Customary newborn baby care sense tells you that newborn babies cry when they are in need of something. Their need can be for milk or for a change of diaper. Many a times, newborns cry because they want to be comforted.
You should not deny them their basic need of love. This might have an adverse psychological effect on their tender mind. Many first time mothers feel very uneasy about dealing with their umbilical cord. Having complete knowledge about the cord will help the mothers to deal with the cord. If you too are going to be a mother for the first time, you should know that this cord is nothing but a bundle of dead protein. So, if by chance, you touch this cord, it won't be harmful for your infant.Another thing that you should know is that the cord should be kept very dry at any time. If it gets at the time of taking a bath, you should clean it with cotton.

Why is baby suddenly waking in the night
Babies' sleep patterns can be affected by many things, including illness, holidays or changes in routine. There are also developmental reasons why children who were great sleepers as babies often start waking during the night between six and 10 months. If your baby suddenly starts waking during the night, step back and evaluate the situation. First, is it something to do with the conditions in her room? Has the weather changed so your baby is too cold during the night? Have the neighbours started leaving on an outdoor light that is shining into your baby's bedroom? If so, try to fix the situation.
Dress her more warmly or put up a black-out blind.Second, are the sudden night-time wakings following a period of illness or a holiday? Or do they coincide with a developmental change? If your baby has learned a new physical skill, for instance, learning to crawl, she may want to try it out every chance she gets, even in the middle of the night. Some babies get caught up in pulling themselves to standing, but then can't get themselves back down without help. The best way to deal with these sudden night-time wakings is to stick with what worked before. That is, don't suddenly change your bedtime routine or how you get your baby to sleep. Be consistent about what you do for several weeks. Will it harm permanently if you leave baby to cry
Most six-month-olds cry for about an hour a day. Babies, whatever age they are, tend to do most of their crying in the evenings. It's true that babies cry less in cultures where they are carried at all times and co-sleep with their mums. But there is no evidence that people from these cultures grow up healthier or happier as a result.Teaching your baby how to comfort himself to sleep will be a great help to him when he is put to bed or if he wakes in the night. A night's sleep consists of between four and six cycles of deep and shallow sleep, with bouts of dream sleep.Babies often briefly wake when in the lighter stages of sleep. If your baby relies on you to help him fall asleep he is likely to fully wake at these times and cry for you. If he knows how to doze off on his own, he will quickly settle back to sleep by himself.Babies and children need a bedtime routine.
A routine will help your baby to feel secure, contented and sleepy before he gets to his cot.So, if you haven't already, create a comforting nightly pattern for your baby. All it takes is a bath, a song, a cuddle, saying goodnight to everyone, then into his cot.Make sure that the end point of his bedtime routine does not involve something he can't do himself if he wakes. Resist the temptation to make the last thing you do a gentle pat, singing to him, or switching on his music player. If any of these are his cues to falling asleep he will cry for you to provide them when he wakes.Draw the routine to a close by putting your baby in his cot, switching off the light, softly saying goodnight and leaving the room.If you have already set a pattern of him falling asleep with you beside him, the best way to break the routine is to leave him to cry himself to sleep.
This is hard on you, but after a few heartbreaking nights he will learn how to fall asleep without you. Rest assured that his crying will not harm him.If you cannot face this, and plenty of parents can't, you can make more gradual changes. It will take longer, but gradual changes do work. Read more about sleep strategies.Your baby may find it easier to sleep if he has a comfort object such as a teddy. And being in a totally dark, or dull room, without nightlights or lots of distracting toys also helps.A baby who sleeps through the night is also going to have a parent who sleeps through the night. And a parent who is rested and happy during the day can only be good for her baby.

Brain development is the difference between boys and girls
We know there are physical differences between a boy's brain and a girl's, both at birth and as children grow. Exactly how those differences affect behaviour and personality is still a mystery. For example, scientists say there probably is an area of the brain that propels many boys towards things that move and many girls towards nurturing but it has yet to be identified.During pregnancy, a boy is a little testosterone machine. In fact, male babies are born with as much testosterone as a 25-year-old man! After birth, testosterone plummets until a boy reaches puberty.Among its many other jobs, testosterone shapes a male's developing brain. It is believed that it decreases the connections between brain cells in some places and enhances them in others, making boys naturally likely to be better at some things than others.Girls make some testosterone before they're born, too, but not nearly as much as boys.
While girls do produce female hormones such as oestrogen, these seem to have little impact on their developing brains. In other words, girls have the brain that boys would have if theirs weren't reshaped by testosterone.Comparing boys' and girls' brains as they grow.Once girls and boys are born, their brains continue to take different paths. Scans show that some areas grow faster in female brains while others grow faster in male brains. This means that the brains of boys and girls who are the same age can be at different developmental stages. Eventually, they catch up with each other.Size also varies. Male brains grow slightly larger overall than female brains, although the significance of this isn't clear. Some research has shown that in girls, the region of the brain that helps control language and emotion tends to be bigger. The part of the brain that connects the two sides is also larger in girls than in boys.
Some scientists think this could mean that girls tend to use both the left and right sides to solve problems. Males on the other hand have been found to have a slightly bigger area of the brain that controls deeper emotions, such as fear. These seemingly small differences in brain structure don't necessarily mean boys will be better at certain things and girls at others. Young brains are extremely open to influence, and key areas grow or shrink depending on how they're used.Do boys and girls think differently?Boys and girls show very similar abilities. They are equally capable in maths, which suggests that the common gap in maths skills in later years is a product of culture, not biology.
Girls are somewhat better at memorising and reciting lists of words though, and they are slightly better at tasks that require finger dexterity and quick thinking. Boys have the upper hand with spatial tasks, such as arranging blocks to form patterns.Above all, the brain is flexible. Children build connections between brain cells, find fresh interests and hone new skills as they read, listen, watch and learn. A girl who plays exclusively with dolls one month might move on to construction toys and cars the next month. She may very well enjoy her bike and learn how to fix a chain. While a boy may never pour imaginary tea for a doll, he can learn how to take care of a pet and later raise a baby of his own. Nothing is set in stone!
